FORENSIC CLINICIAN

St. Joseph Probate Court/Juvenile Justice Center seeks a Forensic Clinician to administer diagnostic instruments under the direction of the Director of Mental Health or Psychologist.  Responsibilities include: supervise mental health intakes, risk and need assessments, and develop individual treatment plans.  Incumbent must be able to provide short term individual and group therapy.  Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology required; doctoral degree preferred.  LCSW required for MSW; LMHC required for MA in Psychology.  Minimum of three years experience providing clinical services to juveniles and their families required, preferably in a residential setting.  Annual salary range up to $55,532.00 depending on qualifications, level of degree and experience.  Schedule includes working several evenings per week.  Send letter of interest, resume and three letters of reference to the name and address listed below.

 

DETENTION OFFICERS

Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice Center is seeking full time detention officers.  Responsibilities include supervision and security for juveniles of the detention facility.  Schedule includes weekends and some holidays.  BS Degree in Criminal Justice or Social Services preferred, HS diploma required.  Salary is $27,253.00 with degree and $26, 332.00 without degree, plus bonus incentives and overtime with full benefit package. 

 

 SPECIAL DEPUTY

Responsibilities include providing security for the entire Probate Court/Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice facility.  Minimum of a high school diploma with training and certification in security and law enforcement procedures required.  Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, a valid driver's license, an excellent work record, and the ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with a diverse population.  Annual salary is $24,500 with full benefit package.

 

FAMILY CASE MANAGER II

The St. Joseph Probate Court seeks a Family Case Manager II for its Probation Department.  Position is responsible for clinically supervising other residential case management probation officers, develop case plans, and conduct home studies and family histories, and implementing and effective social services treatment program for families and children served by the court to ensure successful completion of the program.  Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work required, and incumbent must be licensed in the state of Indiana.  A minimum of five years clinical experience working with families preferred.  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a working knowledge of community resources.  Annual salary range up to $40,447.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience with full benefit package.
