CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Clinical Psychologist (HSPP) - Coordinator of Mental Health/Social Services Department in a secure juvenile detention facility.  Supervises department staff and special programming units, conducts evaluations, and consults with detention, probation and court.  Salary $55,000.00 to $59,000.00.

 

CHILD BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST  

St. Joseph Probate Court is seeking a Child Behavioral Specialist for its Social Services/Mental Health Department.  This person must demonstrate a passion for working with at risk juveniles and their families.  Responsibilities include administering assessment tools used during the intake and classification part of placement in secure detention. Applicant must be able to prepare a psych-social history, risk and needs assessment, develop individual treatment plans and facilitate various programs within the detention facility. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology required, Masters Degree preferred with a minimum of two years experience working in a related field with at risk juveniles, coupled with individual and group counseling skills.  Annual salary up to $32,908.00 per year dependent on qualifications and experience with full benefit package.

 

PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice Center is seeking a Program Support Specialist for its Social Services Program.  Duties include completion of mental health intakes, data collection, facilitating individual and group sessions, proctor screening tests and various clerical responsibilities.  Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma required, coupled with a minimum of two years office/clerical experience.  Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and capable of working in a secure environment.  Annual salary to $23,447.00, depending upon experience and qualifications, with full benefit package.
