The St. Joseph Probate Court seeks a licensed practical nurse for its Juvenile Detention Center. Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, provides patient care to the facility detainees and staff. Implements nursing and medical orders as required by the supervising RN and attending physician. Duties include administering medicines, monitoring vital signs and performing routine treatments and procedures as prescribed by the physician or directed by the staff RN. High school diploma required, supplemented by additional education and training in the nursing field. Must possess current LPN license in the State of Indiana. Minimum of two years nursing experience required, preferably in a correctional, detention, or residential treatment facility. Work schedule is a flexible 12 hour shift with occasional weekends/holidays and on-call duties. Salary range is $27,000.00 to $31,000.00 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience with full benefit package.
